Download a video to your iPhone

Save a video you've uploaded back into your iPhone's Photos app, in one tap.

Any video you've uploaded to equiReelz can be pulled back onto your iPhone — saved straight into the Photos app, ready to AirDrop, edit, or post.

One tap from the video list

In your video list, any video that lives only online — uploaded to equiReelz but not currently in your phone's Photos — shows a small cloud-with-a-down-arrow icon on the right of its row. Tap it: equiReelz fetches the original, full-quality file and saves it into your Photos app. A spinner runs while it works, and the icon turns into a green checkmark once the video is saved.

Pick a quality from the video page

Open a video and tap the cyan Download button in the action row. Instead of downloading immediately, it opens a short menu listing every available quality with its file size.

  1. 1

    Tap Download

The menu lists each version — 4K, Full HD, HD — alongside how large the file is.
  2. 2

    Choose a quality

Pick the original for editing or archiving; pick a smaller size when you just need something quick to share. The download starts straight away.
  3. 3

    Find it in Photos

When the button reads "Saved to Photos", the video is in your camera roll like any other clip.

Why some videos have no Download button

The Download button only appears for videos that are online-only. If a video is still in your phone's Photos — a local video, or one you've already downloaded — there's nothing to fetch, so equiReelz hides the button. The "Local videos vs online videos" article explains the difference.

The first time, allow Photos access

Saving a video adds it to your Photos library, so iOS asks for permission the first time. If you tapped "Don't Allow" by mistake, open the Settings app, find equiReelz, tap Photos, and switch access on — then try the download again.
