Three independent email categories, each with its own off switch. Account → Email preferences.
The three categories
- Educational — feature how-tos, tips, occasional product updates. Off-able. The default is on.
- Promotional — paid-feature nudges and pricing campaigns. Off-able. Default on.
- Personalisation — uses your usage patterns to time and tailor messages. Off-able; turning it off keeps general categories but disables targeting.
What can't be turned off
Transactional emails — share notifications, transfer requests, password resets, billing receipts. These are about actions on your account, not marketing, and they're required for the product to work.
Unsubscribe links
Every educational and promotional email has an unsubscribe link in the footer. It opens a preference center where you can flip the same toggles without signing in.
