Upload from iPhone

Pick from your camera roll, trim, and upload in the background.

Three taps from camera roll to cloud. The app keeps going if you close it, lock the phone, or jump on a different network.

  1. 1

Open the equiReelz app and tap the upload tab

The app shows your camera roll videos with horse-detection badges. The ones with a horse icon are the ones it thinks you meant to film for equiReelz.

  2. 2

    Pick one or many

Tap any thumbnail to select. The select-all-from-today shortcut at the top is handy after a competition.

  3. 3

    Tag horse, rider, and location

Set per-video, or bulk-edit a selection. Trim sliders let you cut warm-up before uploading — saves bandwidth and storage.

  4. 4

    Tap upload

You can lock the phone, switch apps, even put it in a bag. The upload continues in the background.

On cellular?

The app warns you if you're on a mobile connection and offers to compress to 720p before upload. Two minutes of HD competition footage at 4K is ~400 MB; at 720p it's ~50 MB. Useful when your roaming bill is watching.

Already uploaded?

If a video matches one already in your library by file size, duration, and GPS coordinates, the app flags it as "already uploaded" and skips it. See duplicate detection.
