Install the iOS app

Why the app matters, how to install, and signing in.

The website covers everything from a desktop. The iOS app exists because nobody captures video on a desktop — and uploading 30 4K rounds via the browser tab is a pain.

  1. 1

Open the App Store on your iPhone

Search for equiReelz and install. Or scan the QR code on the iOS marketing page from your phone's camera.

  2. 2

Sign in with the same email you used on the web

Same account, same library. The iOS app and the website stay in sync — what you upload on one shows up on the other.

  3. 3

    Allow Photos access

The app asks for camera roll access so it can spot horse videos for you. Without it, the app falls back to a "pick a video manually" flow — usable but slower.

  4. 4

    Allow notifications (optional but useful)

Notifications cover background-upload progress and incoming shares from team members. You can turn them off later in iOS Settings.

Android?

Not yet. The web app works on every modern Android browser, including the upload page. Android-native is on the roadmap; we don't have a date.

What the iOS app uniquely gives you

Background uploads (close the app, lock the phone, uploads keep going), camera roll auto-detection, in-the-field bulk editing, and trim-before-upload. See Local vs online for the bigger picture.
